I am absolutely wetting myself with excitement about the final Lost series. It is going to be dramatic, funny, stressful, tense, and probably depressing.
OK, I don’t actually know that many people who stuck with this hugely successful American drama after it moved to Sky; of those who did, many got bored by what some might call the perplexing and highly convoluted plotline, abandoning their viewing a few series ago. Some might...

As titles for games go, Brütal Legend's is wholly appropriate. Those familiar with its content will know much of it is a loving tribute to all things even remotely connected to heavy metal music. Unfortunately some will be put off by that, as it doesn’t suggest the world’s friendliest game which is a shame because not only does Brütal Legend keep it's tongue lodged firmly in its cheek but it was created by the same man behind PC games Monkey Island and Grim Fandango; games...

Rosie Boscawen discovers the joys of the Mallard Small Press comics
Teeming with poetic, quirky and sometimes downright disturbing short stories and comic strips, the most recent publication from Mallard Small Press, Mallard 6, is a most welcome treat.
Joe Baddeley’s sketches never fail to amuse – the particularly immature but destined always to be funny, “Your mum’s a recession”, has shot to front page fame, and is an especial favourite. The sadistic (though characteristically plain-looking) man who celebrates the death of a delicate bird is also worth a guffaw ...
