A new poem by Rebecca Udy…

Insanity.
Oppressed, whirling
Vein-clutched screams for a shiver to crush the incessant
Beating. Seduced by shattering – resisting -
Burning, burning
Retreating.Called by a light-shaft.
Cling to its threads
Soul-purpose yearning for escape from the dark
Longing for release, to fly upon wings, melting
Slowly, purely
To peace.Doubt is tormenting, panic fermenting
Drowning in chaos of blood-splintered cries –
No one to hear them?
A sudden surprise – soul caught!
Enraptured and captured
By Him.He’s spoken. I notice only when broken.
At last, in pain, I face Him again.
My heart-chord seeks His
Singing
For refreshing
And a new day.

When does the book get published? Put me down for a copy. In fact, put me down for several!!
